History of A.H Claydon & Son Ltd

In 1958 Arthur Claydon established the business and renowned for having an outstanding reputation in Exeter at that time.

In 1951, his son Roger Claydon was born. As soon as he left school in 1966, Roger joined his father as an apprentice. Subsequently, Roger's son Matthew Claydon followed in his footsteps and joined the company in 1993.  

Roger and Matthew remain as directors in the company today and continue to maintain the high standards that Arthur strived for all those years ago. Roger and Matthew's wives Maria and Jennifer are very much involved in the administrative side of the business. As you can see, this truly is a family run business.
